Self-Employed category is also based on a points system and applies to candidates who have relevant experience, as well as the intention and ability to become self-employed, making a significant contribution to the cultural, artistic or athletic life of Canada, or self-employment by purchasing and zaveduya farm in Canada.

The Government of Quebec has its own immigration programs, that contain the selection rules in the classes of skilled workers and business immigrants.
