11.05.10 Ministry of Labor has calculated a number of unemployed in Ukraine
In May 2010 unemployment was about 500,000 people. Informed journalists the Minister of Labour and Social Policy of Ukraine Vasyl Nadraga.
According to his words, in general, radical changes in unemployment haven’t occurred. In the structures of the State Employment Service about half a million people are officially registered.
Nadraga also noted that the peak of unemployment in Ukraine was at the end of 2009. And from the beginning of this year there was a tendency to reduce the number of unemployed.
