05.07.10 The work abroad will be counted to the pension
Ukrainians who work abroad will be able to voluntarily make contributions to the Pension Fund on shared levels that the period of work abroad has been counted in the insurance period.
It is foreseen by the decision of the Pension Fund on March 10, 2009 ¹ 10-1, on the official website of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.
As noted in the press service of the Ministry nowadays 1.5 million of Ukrainian citizens work abroad. The period of their work abroad is not taken into account when calculating their pensions in Ukraine. "In particular, this applies to those citizens who work abroad in countries with which no signed contracts," - said in the press-service. These workers lack pension rights and pension fund loses contributions to pension insurance.
According to the decree PF, Ukrainians, who want to make contributions to pension insurance, submit the application to the Pension Fund over the Internet, through the contact center enterprise "Information Centre personalized PF".
It is envisaged that those who want to participate in pension insurance, may begin to pay premiums without having to PF of such an intention. This agreement on the voluntary participation may be signed within a period not later than one year from the date of first payment.
The premiums are set in the contract and determined the payers themselves, but not less than the minimum and not more than the maximum premium.
Term of pension insurance must be at least 1 year.
Premiums are listed in a currency will be deposited in the PF in UAH according to the rate of National Bank at the time of enumeration.
