15.11.11 Improved recruitment activity in UAE during 1H 2011
There has been considerable improvement in recruitment activity in UAE during the first half of this year, in comparison to same period last year, say leading experts in the industry.
The Head of Financial Markets at McArthur Murray, Peter Greaves, said that nearly 15percent of new jobs were created during first half of this year.
Overall, the regional job market has shown considerable improvement, with 56percent more vacancies being registered with Huxley Associates during first half of this year, in comparison to the same period last year, in the UAE, Saudi, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain markets, he said.
However, some experts are of the opinion that it is hard to arrive at a deciding figure, as it is not easy to identify. The latest survey by Bayt.com said that the hiring expectancy at present indicates that status quo is being maintained, with 28percent of respondents indicating that they would hire in the coming quarter, while another 26percent are uncertain about their plans, and said that they would probably hire.
